Primitive technology tiled roof hut.

An underfloor heating system was built into one side of the hut to act as a sitting sleeping platform in cold weather. The fired tiles were then hooked over the horizontal roof battens. Originally i fired previous pots in small pit fires. World touristar i built this hut in the bush using naturally occurring materials and primitive tools.

In the tiled roof hut that i built based on your design i created a small furnace with a few clay tiles laid on top for cooking on. Next to the furnace there is a small chamber made of the same mixture as above but with a clay tile floor for not putting food on mud. The kiln originally used for firing roof tiles for the hut was used to fire the larger pottery. But the kiln allowed me to fire larger pots with a lower breakage rate than pit fire.

Earthenware may be placed on the tiles to cook.
