I bought a smartthing hub in hopes to get it working again.
Select iris and touch garage door.
While the hub searches press the connect button once.
Additionally you can easily re link the garage opener to your doors if necessary.
Choose a room for the device and touch next.
Then verify you get open close status by tilting the sensor in your hand.
Choose a hub for the device.
However if you move homes get a new garage door or install a new garage door opener on your existing garage doors the remote door opener will no longer work.

If i recall the iris door opener is a repackaged linear garage door opener.
Push down the same button on your garage door remote.
This calibrates the opener and syncs it with your remote control.
